CRI-HELP CRI-HELP is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization founded in 1971 to help substance abusers recover from drug and alcohol addiction and provide related services to the community at large. Initially established as a small, grass roots organization, CRI-HELP was one of the first agencies developed to provide chemically dependent individuals with an effective long term recovery program in a structured, supportive and drug-free environment. Interns from with Emperor's College treat at the George T. Pfleger Center, which is a 120 bed, 40,000 square foot state of the art building that provides the most pleasant living accommodations to the men and women it serves. The Pfleger Center also houses a 5,000 gallon fish tank, an acoustic meditation room, a separate detoxification center, a full court basketball/volleyball court with a walking track, nautilus equipped indoor gym and kitchen and dining facilities.
