Foreign Applicants
Emperor's College is very fortunate to have many students who have
come from around the world to join our Master's Program. We are committed
to expanding our international student body and providing the support
necessary to make each student's journey smooth and rewarding.
Foreign Transcripts
A credentials evaluation agency must officially evaluate all transcripts
from colleges or universities located in a foreign country to determine
if courses taken abroad satisfy the requirements for admission to
Emperor's College. Please contact the Admissions Office for a list
of authorized credentials evaluation agencies and for further information.
Foreign Applicants Requirements
Emperor's College is authorized by Federal Law to enroll non-immigrant
alien students who meet our general admissions requirements as outlined
on page 12 and also comply with the following requirements:
1. Submit evidence of having the financial resources to complete the
academic program.
2. Comply with the laws, rules and regulations of the United States
Immigration and Naturalization Service.
3. Submit US$150 non-refundable application fee. Checks from a U.S.
banking institution and U.S. dollar traveler's checks are acceptable.
4. Foreign applicants must have sufficient TOEFL scores, which are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Emperor's College TOEFL code is 8409.
Foreign students are expected to comply with the regulations of the
U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) in addition to the
regulations of Emperor's College. A foreign applicant who wishes to
accept an offer of admission to Emperor's College may commit to full-time
enrollment by submitting a deposit of $1,400 (tuition and fees for
one full quarter of study), payable in U.S. dollars, within 30 days
of notification of acceptance.
English Proficiency
All courses in the MTOM Program are taught in English. Foreign students
are required to demonstrate English proficiency via a TOEFL score.
