DAOM Open House

Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine will be hosting a DAOM informational openhouse for practitioners considering pursuing a doctoral degree in AOM.

Come have your questions answered about Emperor’s one of a kind doctoral program.

Associated with the event will be two concurrently running CEU opportunities offered earlier in the day on Saturday. Stay for the open house and we’ll give you the CEUs free*.

Seating is limited and expected to fill up quickly so please register early.

*Saturday’s CEU lectures are free to all licensed practitioners with an active status who will also be attending the DAOM open house. The open house will follow the Saturday lectures and end at approximately 6:00pm.

Emperor’s College is located at 1807 Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica, 90403.
2 hour street parking is available near the college on 17th, 18th and 19th streets.
Paid parking is available in the parking lot behind the Emperor’s College building. Please enter the parking lot from 19th St.
 

What is a master’s degree in Oriental medicine?

A masters in Oriental medicine is the entry-level degree required for becoming an acupuncturist. The masters in Oriental medicine at Emperor’s College is nationally accredited, financial aid approved, and prepares graduates for California state (CALE) and US national licensure. We consistently achieve some of the highest CALE and national board pass rates in the country.

Who should take our introductory acupuncture classes?

Emperor’s College offers acupuncture classes in Los Angeles to help prospective students decide if a career in acupuncture and Oriental medicine is right for them and to educate the masses on the use and benefits of natural medicine.

Take a class in the fundamentals of Oriental medicine, learn the basics of Chinese herbal medicine or get introduced to power of the tai chi, qi gong or meditation.

Academic credit is awarded for all Opening Series classes, so if you decide to enroll in the master’s program your credits will transfer.

Spring Opening Series classes begin Friday, June 27, 2014.

No prior knowledge of Oriental medicine is required. Enrolled students must have previously completed a minimum of 60 semester units (90 quarter units) of undergraduate level coursework.
