Students at Emperor’s are treated to a beautiful campus environment with an abundance of natural light pouring into the classrooms, fresh ocean air as they walk between buildings and a host of eateries, coffee shops and grassy parks within a couple minutes walk.
A place to rejuvenate between classes, connect with other students and join in on a study group, the student lounge is outfitted with couches, tables and chairs which make for a comfortable and welcoming environment that suit a students every need. A communal kitchen with filtered water, a refrigerator, toaster oven and microwave allow students to keep food on campus so they can stay nourished throughout the day.
Emperor’s College takes full advantage of its outdoor space and gorgeous southern California weather. In addition to the student lounge, a large outdoor patio with comfortable chairs rewards tired students with cool air and warm sunshine after an intense class or challenging exam.
Students do not need to look far to find the materials they need for their classes. All required and recommended readings are available for purchase at Emperor’s College bookstore, as well as the acupuncture and western medicine supplies needed for hands-on classes. The bookstore also sells a wide range of very popular study materials such as herb samples, flashcards, sample tests, CDs and more.
The library environment offers students a quiet place to fulfill class reading assignments, prepare for exams or familiarize themselves with current research in the field. Reference copies of all required textbooks are available and students have borrowing privileges for a large selection of additional reading to supplement their studies.
The Chinese herbal dispensary fills your senses with exotic aromas and sights that keep students inspired and intrigued by their studies. It is great place to allow some kinetic learning to happen and listen in on conversations between instructors and students.
Wireless Internet Access
Wireless internet access is available to all students while on campus. The access code is given at orientation. There are also public computers for students use located in the library.
Many students have found that having a car is actually not necessary in Los Angeles. Santa Monica is an extremely pedestrian and bike friendly area with beautiful weather that makes it possible to enjoy the outdoors year round. Several Metro bus routes stop within three blocks of the campus and the Metro Expo light rail line will begin service to Santa Monica on May 20, 2016. A variety of parking options are available to students in Emperor’s College neighborhood. All day street parking can be found within a three block radius and paid parking is only $5 per day with an Emperor’s College student ID.
